Film & Kino

Film & Kino is a combination of a member organisation for Norwegian municipalities and an industry organisation for the cinema and video industries. The organisation, which was established in 1917, administers the Norwegian Cinema and Film Foundation and also runs the Mobile Cinema, S-Kino and the periodical Film & Kino.

The Mobile Cinema

The Mobile Cinema (in Norwegian: "Bygdekinoen") is screening films at approximately 220 places all over the country. It is visited yearly by about 130,000 people. The Mobile Cinema is in fact one of the largest cinemas in Norway.
